Do the apartments have lift access?

Most of our apartments are on the 3rd floor with no lift, however we do have a block with 4 apartments with lift access. These are as follows:

    2 x 1 Bedroom Apartments
    2 x 2 Bedroom Apartments

We also have apartments on the first floor:

    2 x 1 Bedroom Apartment

    1 x 3 Bedroom Apartment

    2 x 2 Bedroom Apartment

The rest of our apartments are on the 2nd or 3rd or 5th floor!

If you do have difficulty walking up stairs please could you let us know at time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your particular requirements, this is subject to availability.

Are Hairdryers provided ?

Yes, all our apartments include hairdryers as standard, the larger 4 bedroom apartments include multiple hairdryers for larger groups.

Where is the office?

Our office is also based on the Royal Mile and is a 1-5minute walk from all apartments (217 High Street, The Royal Mile, EH1 1PE). It is located between the the shop called `Crest of Edinburgh` and `Whisky Trail`.

What attractions are close by?

Most major attractions are within a 5-10 minute walk from all of our apartments:

    National Museum of Scotland – 5 minute walk
    Mary King’s Close – 2 minute walk
    St. Giles Cathedral – 2 minute walk
    National Gallery Of Scotland – 5 minute walk

Is there a supermarket near our apartment?

Yes there is a supermarket within a 5-10 minute walk from all of our apartments and newsagents within a 2 minute walk ( Sainsburys and Tesco Metro located in South Bridge).

Does our apartment come with towels and bed linen?

Yes our apartments come complete with a towel and hand towel for each guest as well as hand towels in each bathroom. Bed linen is also fully provided. This is all included in the price.

What housekeeping services do you offer ?

Rooms are fully serviced by our housekeeping team before guests arrive; if extra/daily cleaning is required or requested we can arrange this where possible.The rooms are not serviced/cleaned every day but we will offer fresh towels, bed linen and cleaning half way through a stay if a guest is staying for 6 or more nights. Additional cooking, cleaning and washing are done by the guest at their own leisure in the comfort of their own apartment. 

What facilities are provided inside the apartment ?

Complimentary items include tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets. Shampoo and body wash is provided in the bathrooms along with extra toilet paper, washing up liquid and washing machine tablets.

All our apartments have high speed wifi routers with a 10m range. There is no charge for using the wifi.

What time is check –in?

We can check you in any time after 10:00 as long as we know what time you will be arriving. We can then take you up to your apartment where you can drop your bags off and we can give you the keys. You can then go off and begin to explore Edinburgh while your apartment is being cleaned. Apartments are cleaned by 3pm.

All that we ask is that you reply to the booking confirmation with your expected arrival time.

What time is check-out?

Check-out time is 10am. It may be possible to offer a late check out at a cost of £20 per hour, this is subject to availibilty. The latest check out time we can offer is 12:00.

Please note it is not always possible to let guests check out late. If you would like to inquire about the possibility of a late check out please ask us when you arrive, unfortunately we are not able to arrange this in advance. 

Is there a place to store luggage before we check in and/or after we check-out?

Yes we can store your luggage securely in our office from 09:00 on the day or your arrival or until 17:00 on the day of your departure. This is a complimentary service. All that we ask is that you let us know ahead of time.

Can we extend our stay?

Subject to availability, your booking may be extended. We cannot guarantee the same nightly rate that you got with your original booking, extra nights with be charged at the rates applicable at the time.

How many sets of keys can we have?

All of our apartments offer at least 2 sets of keys. For larger apartments e.g. 4 bedroom we can give out up to 4 sets of keys. All keys must be returned or left in your apartment at the end of your stay or you may be charged a fee of £50 per set.

Do you offer tours?

We offer a variety of tours ranging from 1 day to 3 days, covering many of Scotland’s most popular locations. Tours can be booked before or on arrival, for more information on the tours please refer to our website or contact us directly.

Do you offer extra services?

We have a range of extras available from breakfast ingredients of which you can cook at your leisure to romantic packages and Airport pick ups. All extras can be viewed on our website.

Is Car Parking Available?

Car parking is available nearby all of our apartments; however the car parks are public car parks and therefore guests must pay the applicable fee. The nearest car park to our apartments is Blackfriars Street Car Park and costs £25 for a 24 hour period.

What are the office opening hours?

Our office is open:
Mon-Sun 09:00-19:00.

We are available by phone between 08:00 and 19.00, 7 days a week on 0131 220 1585 or you can reach any time by calling the 24 hour concierge number if you are already staying with us.

How do I check-in outside of office hours?

If you are arriving outside our outside of office hours we will put your key in a security box along with directions to your apartment. The code to the box will be emailed to you when you reply to our booking confirmation with your arrival time.

You will need to print this page out and bring it with you on the day of arrival.

If you have any problems you can call our concierge on the mobile number provided.

How do I get from the airport to your office/apartment?

The best way to get from the airport to our office is by our Meet and Greet service. We have a private taxi division with which we can give airport transfers at discounted rates.

Alternatively you can take an Air Link Bus, this takes around 30 minutes. The Air Link bus leaves every 10 minutes and you need to get off at the last stop which is Waverley Train Station (our office is a 5 minute walk from Waverley Train Station, please see directions below).

How do I get from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station to your office/apartment?

Our office is a short 5 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. From the station exit onto Waverley Bridge, walk down the road away from Princes Street/shops to the mini roundabout, from here taking the central road called Cockburn Street, go to the top of Cockburn Street, turn right onto High Street/Royal Mile and our office is based within a souvenir shop called ‘Crest of Edinburgh’ around 50 meters up the hill (High Street/Royal Mile) on the right hand side.
