Much of the accommodation information provided on our web site and by our reservation centre is supplied by each apartment. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that all information provided online, by telephone and facsimile is accurate, StayEdinburghCity.co.uk cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions it may inadvertently contain.
Confirmations are made by StayEdinburghCity.co.uk on the basis of availability information supplied by apartments. In the unlikely event that StayEdinburghCity.co.uk is advised that a apartment is not available after StayEdinburghCity.co.uk has issued a confirmation to a guest, StayEdinburghCity.co.uk reserves the right to cancel the reservation with a full refund to the guest. Under such circumstances StayEdinburghCity.co.uk's liability is limited to the payment received for the accommodation booked via StayEdinburghCity.co.uk and now being cancelled. This liability does not extend to travel commitments or other costs. In such an event we would naturally do all we can to offer alternative but equivalent accommodation.
Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates, and are subject to a possible rate change.
Upon arrival StayEdinburghCity.co.uk reserves the right to request preauthorisation of the guest credit or debit card for £200 per apartment as security against any damage and incidentals. A valid Identity Card (Passport/Driving License/National Identity card etc.) must be provided for personal identification.
It is expected that the apartments are left in a clean and tidy order. You are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during your stay which has occurred due to negligence or omission. Any damage must be reported to us without delay. Any lost property will be held for 14 days and if it is not claimed it will be donated to a local charity. You will be held responsible for the keys to the apartment at £100 per set if lost or damaged.
Noise and disturbances will not be tolerated. Guest will be given one warning and then asked to leave. No refunds will be issued. StayEdinburghCity.co.uk reserves the right to charge guests who cause disturbance to other guests and tenants.
All our properties are strictly NON-SMOKING. Anyone caught smoking inside the apartments building will be fined £50.00/- on their Credit Card and given one warning. Should the offence be repeated, you will be evicted without refund.
Pets other than guide dogs are not allowed in the apartments. Infringement of this rule will result in immediate eviction.
In order to confirm your reservation StayEdinburghCity.co.uk requires a 30% deposit of the total value of the booking, the balance of which is due on arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until you receive the 2nd email confirming payment receipt of 30% deposit, from StayEdinburghCity.co.uk. StayEdinburghCity.co.uk accepts no liability for people who arrive at the apartment accommodation before receipt of this confirmation email.
If you need to cancel or change your accommodation, please provide StayEdinburghCity.co.uk with 30 days notice. All cancellations need to be received by StayEdinburghCity.co.uk in writing either by e-mail or fax and will only be effective on the date of written receipt. StayEdinburghcity.co.uk advises guests to obtain personal travel insurance covering their accommodation. The following fees will be applied to the total value of the reservation for any cancellations received within 30 days of the arrival date:
Wherever possible we will facilitate an early check-in if you arrive prior to 15:00 hrs.
Late check-outs can be arranged at a cost of £10.00/- per hour. This must be pre-booked the day before you are due to check-out. Maximum late check-out possible will be till 13:00 hrs (1pm). Reception opens at 09:00 hrs, should you be checking out before 9am, please lock your apartment & post the key through the pigeon hole (letter-box) of your apartment. All early check-outs must be pre-arranged with the Receptionist at least 24 hrs prior to check-out.
All Linen & Towels are provided in the apartment. Guests who book our apartments for more that 7 nights will receive complimentary linen & towels change once a week. Daily serviced can be arranged with the Reception at an extra cost of £15.00 per serviced.
All major debit/credit cards, American Express and bank transfers. Please note that a reservation remains a provisional one until the deposit/full payment has been received. We regret, personal cheques are not accepted.
Only persons notified to us prior to arrival may occupy the apartment. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded.
If you have received a great service please let the duty manager know and feel free to tip any of the staff. All tips are pooled and given to our designated charity.
StayEdinburghCity.co.uk has made every reasonable effort to ensure the freshness, quality and value of your accommodation. In the event of a complaint, guests may contact StayEdinburghCity.co.uk during their stay at the apartment and we will do our utmost to assist you. However, ultimately we cannot accept liability for guest dissatisfaction with a apartment. StayEdinburghCity.co.uk cannot assist guests who first submit complaints after departing the hotel accommodation. All complaints that are not of an urgent nature will be resolved within 14 days. This gives us time to fully investigate each and every complaint and to try to ensure that we do not get any repeats. You will be given a reference number to help you track the progress.
