  • The location was incredible! A 5-minute walk from the train station, and right underneath Edinburgh castle. The neighborhood is the best. The apartment was clean, attractive, quiet and comfortable, and Ashley provided a delightful welcome and introduction to Edinburgh. If I ever go back to Edinburgh (which I hope to!), I will absolutely use Stay Edinburgh City Apartments. I wouldn't even think about using another hotel or company.

  • Everything we were looking for and more! Friendly staff, great apartment in a fantasic location. Before we arrived the communications from stay Edinburgh was a1 and all questions we had were answered. The apartment was clean, well equiped and decor was moden. The location was in the centre of the old city with the tour bus stop just out side. The only down side to our trip is we had to go home! We stayed for three nights, but would be comfortable staying in this apartment for weeks at a time.

  • Harvey and the other staff were very attentive and did what they could to help with any problems. The location was perfect for walking around town.The apartment was large spacious and warm. Good facilities,nice towels and bedding. Kitchen was well stocked . We were upgraded to a 4 bed for the same price as a 3 bed.

  • The young man who booked us in could not have been nicer or more helpfull. The apartment was lovely, the hike up the stairs was a bit of a pain but in such an old building it's to be expected. Location was fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. We were very happy with the price, facilities and assistance. Will happily use again.

  • The space I got for the price was far better than a hotel. As my stay was over for a few days, it was nice to be able to cook and eat in the room. I stay in hotels often, so it was a refreshing change.

  • Good central location. My teenage daughter and I arrived late in the evening after a very long, tiring journey, we found the staff to be extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They couldn't do enough to assist us. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well furnished, it did not disappoint and matched the description and the pictures on the website. We did expect some noise from nearby nightlife due to the central location of the apartment, it did not disturb us or keep us awake. I would use this company again.

  • Really very very friendly and friendly staff (sorry I forgot his name). When checking in, he gave us a warm welcome and helped us to take the heavy luggage from the reception office to the apartment. He also done a mini-tour and showed us the major points of interest along the way. The apartment is at the end of Royal Mile, an excellent location just 1 minute walk to the Edinburgh Castle, and a nice view from the windows. The apartment is very clean and well-equipped. The only shortcoming I can think of is that he 's not 100% sure how to operate the washing machine, but it's absolutelly OK because a clear instrument manual has already been attached to the machine!!! Overall it is a very nice stay and the apartment is highly recommended.

  • The apartment was beautiful, clean, modern, very comfortable. We were provided with everything we needed for a self-catering stay, including a 'welcome pack' containing tea, coffee, milk, etc. Great central heating and an endless supply of hot water. An information pack included comprehensive information on all appliances in the apartment and on a wide range of local attractions and services. We were even provided with two strong umbrellas, very useful on wet days! Provided an authentic experience of living in Edinburgh.

  • The kids loved the entrance way.. down a dark 'close' and up a winding stone staircase with a rope rail.. just like a castle we'd visited earlier so they were thrilled.. then of course a lovely comfortable spacious apartment at the end of it.. with mod cons but still the sloping floors, high roof and 'off plumb' walls of a very old building. We loved the character of the place and being able to look down on the Royal Mile from up high and enjoy the street life.. whilst relaxing in comfort. Being at this apartment felt like a real treat to our family. In the morning it was literally a hop, skip and jump to the gates of Edinburgh Castle. A truely excellent location.

  • The location is very good, just off the High Street and everything is just around the corner. It's situated in an old building, which at first sight I was a bit hesitated but the interior is quite modern, comfy and clean.

  • The staff was so helpful. Before we came, we emailed back and forth about how to get to their offices, and they even arranged a day trip for us through one of the local tour companies. The apartment was great, with an excellent location and great facilities.

  • Our apartment was in a very old building, which looked very run-down from the outside and in the stairwell. Thankfully our apartment was nice, clean and modern - completely at odds with the buidling it was in. We were very happy with the space in the apartment. Large kitchen, bathroom and living space. Our apartment was right in the city centre, a short 10-15 minute walk to all locations.

  • Centrally located with exceelent facilities. Plenty of room for us and two teenage boys even on the sofa. Beds comfortable and shower great. Staff really helpful and knowledgeable about local facilities. We have stayed in many apartments and cottages but this was the first time we had come across a bread maker in the kitchen! Brilliant location in the thick of the festival.

  • My family traveled to Edinburgh this summer. We found Stay Edinburgh City Apartments online. Although we only stayed in Edinburgh for one night, we were extremely impressed by this hotel. It is the best hotel we stayed during our two week Europe trip (we stayed in more than 6 hotels) in terms of value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was sparkly clean. The location is great and the price is adequate. I strongly recommend Stay Edinburgh City Apartments to anyone who travels to Edinburgh.

  • Location, location, location. Right in the middle of The Royal Mile, halfway between St. Giles and Edinburgh Castle. This flat, located in James Court mid-entry, is in a historic building, built in 1790. Apartment #6 had views into the courtyard and despite the fact that this building fronts the popular and busy Royal Mile, the flat was very quiet. This is an old building, so there is no lift up the 3 flights of winding, narrow stairs. So if you do not like to walk up stairs, this might not be the flat for you. However, If you don't mind the stairs; want to combine a stay in a historic building with a a+ location; like to deal with thoroughly helpful and professional staff (Harvey is the best!); then this flat will be perfect for you. It was completely renovated and nicely equipped -- leather couches, flat screen tv, small table and chairs in the living area; kitchen was small but very well equipped and gives you the opportunity to prepare some of your meals there, thus saving you restaurant $$$, king sized bed with nice linens in the bedroom and a very nicely sized bathroom with full shower. The flat was spotless upon arrival. We couldn't have been happier with our selection and will definitely book through Stay Edinburgh again.

  • Excellent location and superb apartment. Good sized bedrooms with added benefit of two bathrooms and separate shower which suited group of 5 females!!!! Well equipped and met all our needs. Wished we had stayed longer and would definately recommend it for an enjoyable stay in a beautiful city.

  • Chris the staff member who checked us in was fantastic. He jumped in our car and took us to the apartment and helped us to get in and settled. It would have been difficult without his help. The apartment was good although the washing machine did not cycle through as expected and we left the next day with wet clothes. This did not detract from our great time in Edinburgh and we would stay with you again.

  • The staff were exceptional. They brought us to the apartment and assisted us with luggage. They thoroughly explained how everything worked at the apartment. They even made a second trip to replace burned out lightbulbs. They had a wealth of tourist information on hand at the apartment along with great suggestions for dining, shopping and entertaining. The apartment itself was utterly charming. Although it was a bit of a climb to get to it (fourth floor), it combined the rustic appeal of a historic apartment with all of the modern conveniences. I would highly recommend this property to other travelers. It is literally two blocks from Edinburgh Castle and 5 minutes from many excellent restaurants.

  • I like everything about the hotel. It's quite glamorous and massively comfortable with fully-equipped kitchen. My family was very pleased with the location since it's located on High Street which is in the centre of Edinburgh so as soon as we opened the door, we were actually in town. And the price was very excellent.

  • Great value for money, fantastic location, I really enjoyed Stay Edinburgh City Apartments. The particular unit we rented was in a 250 year old building right on the Royal Mile, with great views down the road. Would definately stay there again.

  • Everything is great!! My best stay during travels ever! The staff (Harvey) is extremely nice and helpful, provided lots of great info such as place to eat and how to get to airport. They also help u book trips to place like highland and loch Ness at no charge!! The trips are really worthy going and usually cheaper than booking it by urself. The room is fabulous, looks even better than the picture. very clean, well- furnished with free,secure and high-quality wifi,located in quiet, safe & very central area and with great heating system. Have to say it again, Harvey is really nice: he even delivered my trip ticket to my place near the airport, thx Harvey! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends

  • Simlpy superb accomodation in simply a superb location. Overlooking the top of the Royal Mile with everything at your doorstep. Indeed for location and comfort our group agreed there was probably no better accomodation availabe in Edinburgh. We were afforded a lovely welcome and our needs were accomodated entirely, far more than any hotel could offer. Brilliant! Thanks Harvey.

  • The apartment building had a stone spiral staircase. We loved it. It made you feel part of the Old Town. It was located right on the Royal Mile with an excellent view of the street and activities below. It was quiet. The heat worked really well, and the washing machine was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable - there was a lot of room, it was very clean and the furnishings were all like new. The staff were excellent. Sarah and Harvey and Ian and even the housekeeper (sorry I forgot her name) were all very helpful and accommodating from the reservation process through check out. We will return.

  • Every thing was awesome, especially the atmosphere . Also the Edinburgh Castle is 5 min walk , 4 min walk to the Camera Obscure . Edinburgh buss Tours just near the door :D. For shopping… We were in the old town where a lot of Scottish shops & Princes Street less than 10 min. It was an amazing trip especially that Scottish people have a good manners they act like a royal so I will return back to Scotland . I already recommended this hotel to my friends . So, Lovely place with lots of fun and very helpful staff. Thanks to the staff in the "Stay Edinburgh City Apartments" you are very kind.

  • The reception was very nice and the apartment was so big and so clean!! There's a "central reception" which is not your apartment. Fortunately the apartments and the reception are very very close to each other and very central which is perfect for tourist. a fix time for checking in is strongly recommended.

  • these apartments are excellent.......clean, modern,trendy inside. they are so central......no more than a 10/15 minute walk from all the popular tourist sights. on the doorstep of the castle, close to the grassmarket for socialising and 10 minute walk from princess street, for shopping. the staff were excellent, especially sarah, who even came for a drink with us (how friendly is that).

  • The place where the apartment is situated is the best to stay in Edinburgh. You can watch what's happening on the main street of the City (Royal Mile) just from your window. It is close to everything. The apartment itself is in a very old castle-like house with a spiral stone staircase. this apartment would best suit family and/or group of friends travelling together.

  • Stayed at the 2-bedroomed apartment just off the Royal Mile. It was a beautiful apartment - lovely furnishings, plenty of space and all in a fantastic location in a stunning building. A narrow spiral stone stairway leads up to the apartments which have stone walls which gave the rooms a "castle" like feel. Despite being in a very touristy area, and our stay coincided with the first week of the Edinburgh Festival, we were not bothered by any street noise. Special thanks to Harvey who was an absolute pleasure to deal with - a man who truly remains calm under pressure!

  • The location of these apartments is fantastic - I booked two apartments, a 2 bedroom on Blair St and four bedroom on High Street (Royal Mile). Both apartments are in an excellent position for exploring Edinburgh. I stayed in the High St apartment which was amazing, big, spacious and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay there again.

  • The location was fantastic, ideal for central Edinburgh. The apartment was lovely, everything you needed, and very nicely furnished. Nice to have your own space when travelling with a family (one two-year old) more play space than when staying in a hotel. Would definately use again if visiting Edinburgh.

  • owner was very helpful at polite! explained where everything was and to contact him at anytime if there was a problem. Beds were very comfy and the kitchen was v clean. living room and dining room was spacious and modern.

  • It was excellent, very helpful staff, provided me with an emergency contact number. Prompt responses to emails. The appartment was very centrally located, funrnished to a very high standard. And very warm and cosy!

  • We stayed here for a couple of nights. On first arrival the building looked very run down the hall way and lift were in need of a make over but this has nothing to do with the Apartment. Once inside it was truly lovely the location is excellent and we will be returning soon perfect place to stay.

  • Kunne ikke hatt bedre beliggenhet. Leiligheten lå i The Royal Mile rett ved Slottet. Fin leilighet med moderne interiør. Rent og pent.

  • Die Lage war erstklassig, direkt neben dem Edinburgh Castel und Royal Mile. In gehbarer Entfernung zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten ( z.B. Holyrood Palace, Parlament, National Gallery, etc.). Die Wohnung war sehr schön und funktional eingerichtet. Die Betreuung durch den Anbieter war perfekt.

  • 公寓就在最为热闹的皇家英里大道上，紧挨爱丁堡城堡。外表和楼道以及卧室的石墙充满城堡的古典和神秘，内部装修却很现代、舒适。厨房浴室用品齐全，一厅两室对于我们两个一起带孩子旅游的家庭来说再合适不过了。员工非常热心诚恳！

  • το διαμέρισμα ήταν εκπληκτικό. οι χώροι τεράστιοι πεντακάθαρο με μεγάλο σαλόνι τραπεζαρία κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και είχε όλα τα απαραίτητα όχι απλά για διακοπές αλλά για μόνιμη κατοικία. αν πάτε μή παραλείψετε να γνωρίσετε τον Κας. είναι υπέροχος και θα σας σκλαβώσει με την ευγένειάτου.
